I am now a CERTIFIED (level 1) FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPIST.

What the heck is Fascial Stretch Therapy??

“This is a relatively new form of treatment that involves the therapist performing assisted stretching techniques with a client on a treatment table or floor. Comfortable straps help stabilize the limb or part of the body that is not being stretched in order to facilitate complete relaxation and to enhance the effectiveness of the stretches.”

~Jacqueline Mirkopoulis

I am loving how effective the modality is! I like to think of it as the ‘link’ between yoga and massage. Some folks call it ‘lazy person yoga’.

Love it :)

It is super effective assisted stretching on the table.

You arrive ready (and dressed) to be stretched. You lay there, breath deeply as you would for relaxation/yoga and I do 90% of the ‘work’ for you.

Fantastic for chronic lower back pain/stuck-ness, hips & hammies. Brilliant for calves and ankles and super-freeing for neck and shoulders.

After the treatment you might feel a little ‘stretch drunk’, out-of-it… Super relaxed…

To quote a client who recently received FST for the upper body (incorporated into her 90min massage)

“I feel like a giraffe-ballerina…”

If you want to try it, I’d be happy to give you a little ‘taste’ during your next massage.

Yes, it is covered as a massage technique, so it is billed as massage to your extended health care provider (if you have one).

**FST can also be an excellent ‘warm-up’ for your next event/race. It is a sped up version of the same modality, designed to have you fired up and race ready.

Happy to treat individuals or teams.

Contact me if you would like me at your next event. My table is portable!

I look forward to seeing you soon!
