…Aren’t we all just ‘faking’ our lives while we bumble along… Being compassionate to all the other fakers?
I’m loving the momentum I’m afraid if I get off this lovely mill that it wont come I’m loving the reading, the connecting… I’m finding my ‘tribe’ Caring, supportive, honest Together, we are moving out bravely from the smooth edges of comfort and are headed toward the unknown of who we are, what we are […]
My intention for this year is to be as big as I am. After spending a lovely vacation in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with my boys and my man, I am inspired to teach/host a retreat there, or at least, near there. I had recently taken Amy Ippoliti’s “How to Run Workshops and Retreats” course a […]
It’s funny how when we are driving, moving through space along a path with a group of seemingly separate individuals, when the conditions are less than perfect, how we can feel connected. They carry you […]
“Discipline is remembering what you want” I first heard this from one of my favourite yoga teachers, Doug Keller. Lots of little light bulbs went off in my mind when I heard this doosie. I love the universal applications of it. I’m pretty good at coming up with ideas/intentions/affirmations/goals/resolutions and am sometimes successful with seeing things through… […]
It is Australia Day on Thursday (Jan 26th). I always try to celebrate in some way to keep my connection to my place of birth and to instill a sense of ‘Australian’ into my half Australian boys. Usually I do roast lamb with lots of roasted veggies, make Lamingtons or Pavlova and watch an Australian movie with […]
Man, I love my yoga students! They ask the best questions. One of them asked this last night referring to her physical yoga practice. My short answer was No. But you make it all look so effortless… It’s a lovely compliment, but soooo far from the truth 🙂 It’s super hard! Downward facing dog […]
