Messing Up and Making Good(?)

We recorded the “Welcome Message” video for the website just yesterday.

Oh my goodness!

It was so much fun! I kind of suck at this kind of thing, It’s a new thing for me – I was feeling all self conscious-y about it so I went into my seemingly less uncomfortable mode of being a goof. There did seem to be more ‘out-takes’ than actual usable footage, so Paul decided it was way to good(?) to waste and put together a Blooper Reel.

Please note, the Blooper Reel is indeed longer than the actual message…1:23 (that’s 1 minute, 23 seconds – not hours and minutes) Oh, boy!

Enjoy!

Thanks to all the folks who contributed to the check-it-out-and-tell-me-what-you-think-about-the-new-website part of the last Blog (which was my 1st)

I just started teaching a new yoga class today at Kingstec, NSCC in Kentville.

Wowie! What a great turn-out. Some of these brave folks were coming to a yoga class for the first time.

I remember feeling intimidated, unsure, scared the first time I went to a yoga class. Isn’t it like that with anything new? The great fear of the unknown. Or worse, having a preconceived idea of what it is all about, and then proceeding to be blown out of the water, totally wrong, ha! I love that…

Kinda.

Anyway, I guess the theme here is to just laugh it off, let your guard down and giggle. To laugh at myself is one of the great comforts I have. Ridiculous belly laughs ensue in the most challenging (serious) yoga poses. They are what seem to make me look at everything with a new perspective. A better perspective?? Hmmm, I dunno, but is sure feels a lot better.
